Welcome to RCTI's pages
We are the most recent Rotary Club in Tampere, Finland; we have been chartered in December 2010. Our full name is Rotary Club of Tampere International, but we like to just say "RCTI". We are a nice group of relaxed yet dynamic Finns and non-Finns, curious about other cultures and customs. Most of us have lived in different countries and/or travelled extensively. Our club's official and actual language is English. Our mission as an international club is to serve the international community in Tampere and surrounding areas and help its members enjoy living in Tampere. We are also a natural contact point for non-Finnish Rotarians visiting Tampere.
If you are a Rotarian visiting Tampere, you will certainly be welcome in any of the 10 Rotary Clubs of our city. But if you come from outside of Finland and/or do not speak Finnish, then we are the club to visit!
Don't know about Rotary yet? Rotary is a great way to help integrate into the community! If you live in Tampere area and would like to know more, you can check the links down below and contact us.
If you don't see your national flag above, just visit us and we will be happy to add it! If your flag is already there, you are of course very welcome as well!
We meet on Tuesdays at 17:00 (5pm) in Plevna Brewery Pub & Restaurant. After the meetings we have dinner together, naturally also in Plevna.

As always, the most up-to-date version of our meeting program is on our Program page; the topics for the beginning of 2014 will soon be posted there.

While in the Rotary Convention in Lisbon last week, 2012-2013 District Governor Niko Niemi presented RCTI member and Past District Governor Veli-Matti Heinijoki with the First class medal of honour from Rotary Finland. Congratulations Vellu! We are really proud and lucky to count you in our ranks!
